Hokkaido in spring. It's a quiet sight in Japan two months after the devastating earthquake. However, no matter where you go, the people are already moving 0n with their lives.
We chose May in order to catch the last of the spring blossoms in Japan and were lucky to still catch them in their last blooms. It was a lovely sight to watch spring blossoms raining down whenever the wind blows.

Otaru - a lovely town about 45 mins train ride from Sapporo. I loved the "Back in time" feel of the town with its western style buildings mingling with old Japanese architecture.

The most lovely sight in Otaru is this famous canel.
