At the Outeniqua train station, we visited the train museum where we saw lots of vintage train carriages and I got everyone hooked on buying the bronze plate by Red Cross. The train ride (that we almost missed, because it was one of those surprises) is really cool. We actually sat on the last steam train in Africa that runs daily, aside the the exhaust that it produced, that is....

Sadly, we had to get off at the next stop at Wilderness. Miraculously, our bus appears at the train station (Remeber we left it back at George). We took a walk along the beach where we were had our next picnic (which seems like a common theme). Picnic turns out to be a real feast. Well, the view at least is wondeful. Then, it's off to Outshoorn.

Blue skies, pretty beach....

Once we drove into Outshoorn, the first thing that we saw are ostriches everywhere. They are really silly looking and curious in nature. We checked in at Kleinplass (which stands for Little Farm) and headed to the Ostrich farm for a Klein ostrich lesson. Met a lady ostrich named Linda, who stared in commericals back in her heyday. Some of us rode these poor ostriches and ate ostriches for dinner. Hey, they don't call them ostrich farm for nothing, and no we did not have Linda for dinner.
