Udon at a little Udon shop just besideAsakusa (it's delicious for it's simplicity)

Japan has some iconic pictures on their manhole cover. For example in Tokyo, the manhole cover is designed with a sakura on it. While in Osaka, they have the Osaka castle on their manhole cover
Osaka
The next city we visited is Osaka. Arrived pretty early on our bus (one we booked from 123.bus.net - the only website that sells bus tickets in English). Dropped our bags on at our accommodation (we stayed in Weekly Mansion Otamae in Osaka, it had rather spacious room with it's own kitchenette and bathroom, at a pretty affordable price) and off we went...
When in Osaka, it is very worth it to purchase the tourist pass (easily available from the tourist information counter). With this pass, we kept all our sight seeing and transport at only the price of the pass. It also recomended some pretty awesome places to visit. Our favorite is the housing musuem.
We find Osaka a pleasant place for a short visit. It is a slow paced city with great food and a wonderful city to get your quirky souvenirs.
I think this is the Osaka History Musuem
