Indian ocean as backdrop
Today was the last day that Daniel was to be our driver. We are really sad, since Daniel was such a jovial guy even after the long drives and he always had some laughters to share with us. Butthe trip has to go on, so he drove us to the city centre where we had our short 15 mins of shopping (Gerhard is really stingy on shopping time), then it's off to the airport to catch our flight to Port E. It's quite sad as we didn't have much time to enjoy Durban with it's really pretty architecture.

Beautiful architecture of Durban
Reached Port Elisabeth, board another bus, driven by Adrian and we had a little tour around town. The architecture's great but different from Durban. Before long we're herded back to the bus and off to Tsitsikamma. We heard that to book for the famous Otter Trail hike, one need to do so two years in advance.

Some pictures of Port E
Finally arrived at Tsitsikamma, where we'll stay for two nights. It was the two coldest night ever since there's no heater in the cabin, we had to hug the water bag to sleep to keep warm. The view was great though and you could hear the waves crashing at night. BTW, the south africans really had a thing for baths, in almost all the places we live in have baths instead of showers. i know it's kind of romantic but try imagining taking a bath in a 5 degC weather, romantic is not what's in mind.
